We founded Gweniss with a passion for style and classic British fashion, and a drive to create something different in the market.

Over the years, we’ve been fortunate enough to work with high-quality, reputable brands and have had vast experience in sourcing traditional satchel bags and accessories. However, over the years we felt that the quality of the leathers and functionality of the designs just weren't the same anymore. We felt that the newer designs had lost touch with their traditional roots and as a result the personal touches, that customers love, had faded.

We set upon a journey to travel across the UK and meet local leathercraft experts, with decades of experience, who were at the heart of these leather bags. Each person had a different story to tell, but they all had one thing in common; a passion for their work and a desire to keep their trade alive as big brands moved into their traditional vocation.

Together with our independent partners, we created Gweniss. A brand we made with the intention of keeping our partners' passion at the forefront of everything we do. We are so excited to introduce to you each of our unique bag designs and shoulder straps and offer a collection of Britain’s finest leather bags and accessories, handmade especially for you.
