The Royal Wedding - Who wore what?
The Royal Wedding was this weekend and we must say, it did not disappoint. We were beyond in love with every part, the dress, the tiara, the guests, the flowers and of course, the fashion.
There was no mistaking that the Royal Bride, Meghan Markle, looking truly stunning and elegant. Her Givenchy Gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller, was simple and classic. Boat necked, with slim three-quarter sleeves and a flowing train, cushioned by an underskirt in triple silk organza. The veil was where the real wow factor was. At 5 meters long, it included an embroidered flora from each of the 53 commonwealths. Workers from Givenchy spent hundreds of hours sewing the designs, washing their hands every thirty minutes to keep the tulle and threads pristine. Each flower had to be unique and detailed.
Harry looked great too.
The wedding guests didn’t disappoint either! Of course it was filled royalty, Dukes and Duchesses, Ladies and Lords, but the celebrity turn out was insane! Everyone from the Beckhams to Oprah Winfrey was in attendance. Dare we say it, but it almost rivalled the Oscars!
Here’s a low down on some of our fave looks from the Royal Wedding. Other than the Bride herself (obvs), Kitty Spencer and Amal Clooney took the top spot for us! Who were your favourites? Let us know in the comments.
